The operator informed me that I had not had coverage the entire previous year, that my payment had been denied. I looked back through my bank statements and it is true, I did not find a charge. Still my account showed I was covered; I had a POI statement and my account showed "Active." I had no idea. At least 3 times over the year I had printed my POI I had no reason to think that there was a problem. I was mortified - an entire year without insurance and the HPSO website showed I was active and covered. I am grateful that I did not need to use insurance. It would be helpful if on the website it would show the true status of one's coverage. I gave 4 stars for my experience applying for my insurance today. It was easy however, I am employed but I also see an occasional private client and was not given an option to include that.
