"I'm a pediatric physical therapist retired for 1 year and, although I no longer provide hands-on services, I found myself providing "consulting" services to daycare centers in my area. I am not screening children but occasionally delivering educational lectures on child development, typical beneficial activities for specific age ranges, body mechanics, etc. I did not want to be uninsured even though I currently provide this information Pro Bono because I present myself as a Physical Therapist. It also didn't make sense to undergo the expense for a liability policy that I wasn't sure I needed.
