I bought liability insurance for my private practice (which was super expensive), I found a much more affordable option one day later so I cancelled my plan. It was really hard to get someone to cancel it at all, I had to call about 3 times. When I was told it was finally cancelled, I didn't get an email confirmation, so I called dback again and asked for one - I got one after emailing and calling a couple times and was told I will be reimbursed withiin 30-60 days (why so much time!!???). After 59 days passed and nothing, I called AGAIN to be told that my cancellation didn't go through because the agent that issued it was not authorized to do so. They cancelled it for real and told me it would be another month or so before getting my check - they knew how frustrated I was and didn't do anything to expedite my payment or even apologize!
