HPSO knows that continuing education is important for career growth and licensure. In most states, continuing education is required and considered a way for healthcare professionals to stay current with the latest developments, skills, and new technologies required for their practice.

For Physical Therapists, Pharmacists & Counselors:

HPSO, in partnership with Wolters Kluwer Health – Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) and CNA, the underwriter for the HPSO program, is pleased to announce our risk management continuing education program: Focus on Malpractice Prevention. For other Allied Healthcare Professionals:

If you attend an eligible Risk Management Course, you may be eligible to receive a 10% non-cumulative credit applied to your annual premium for up to three years. The course must be 6 contact hours in a subject related to your area of specialization. Provide a certificate of attendance showing the course name, date, and number of hours. The course must have been completed within the last 12 months in order for you to qualify for the discount.

Educator Resources

Educators are our biggest advocates. We often hear from customers that it was their instructor who told them they needed to have their own coverage. HPSO is frequently contacted by educators requesting collateral for use in their classrooms. We appreciate your advocacy and want to be as helpful as we can to you. HPSO has developed an Educator Program to make it easy to receive case studies, articles and claim reports to use in your classroom. This link will take you to a registration form where you can sign up to receive legal case studies, articles, newsletters and claim studies in digital or print form.
